Marine Forecast
Synopsis: High pressure over the lower Mississippi Valley will move east and push off the Carolina coast today through Wednesday. Northwest flow will persist today then veer northeast Tuesday as wind speeds decrease. A developing storm system will move east along the Gulf Coast through late week, and lead to increasingly hazardous marine conditions beginning Thursday. A band of strong storms is likely to move across the waters sometime on Thursday. Near gale conditions are possible offshore on Friday.
