Behind a storm system heading toward Nova Scotia this afternoon, NW gales will wrap around the waters through Tue. Gales will diminish Tue night into Wed as high pres crests over the waters. The high will shift offshore late Wed into Thu resulting in SW winds and moderating temperatures. A storm system will approach Southern New England from the SW Fri and Fri night, which will bring a slug of rain along with unseasonably muggy conditions.
